Unlock flexible Internet with mobile connectivity
In many scenarios, traditional wired internet options like fiber or DSL may not be feasible or optimal. These technologies are especially valuable in areas where physical connections are impractical, providing fast and reliable internet service. Whether due to geographical challenges, the need for rapid deployment, or simply seeking redundancy in network connections, mobile connectivity ensures you stay online.

Why choose mobile connectivity?
Mobile connectivity is a versatile solution, essential in many scenarios where traditional broadband options fall short. Here’s why it's a reliable choice:
- Areas lacking high-Speed internet: For locations without access to fiber or DSL
- Popup stores: Enables quick, temporary setups with reliable internet, essential for sales and transactions in short-term retail environments
- Construction sites: Offers robust internet access to support essential operations and communications on remote or temporary construction projects
- Short-term events: Essential for music festivals and other events, providing temporary, reliable internet access to support operations and attendee connectivity
- Fallback and redundancy needs: Acts as a backup to maintain internet service continuity during primary connection failures
- Extended outages due to infrastructure work: Provides an alternative connection during long-term disruptions caused by road works or cable cuts

Choosing between 5G and satellite connectivity
5G connectivity
Available only in Luxembourg, 5G is easy to set up, can be used indoors or outdoors, and occupies minimal space. It generally offers slightly better upload speeds than satellite, but may not perform in crowded events such as festivals.
Satellite connectivity
Available in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, and France. It requires outdoor installation with a clear line of sight to the sky and can provide service in extremely remote areas not covered by 5G.
Fair usage and network management
Our Galaxy services are based on the standard data plan of Starlink, which offers unlimited data but includes specific considerations to ensure all users experience fair and optimal connectivity. It is important for our customers to understand that while the data is unlimited, network performance may be adjusted in times of high demand.
According to Starlink's policy: "If bandwidth patterns consistently exceed what is allocated to a typical residential user, Starlink may take network management measures, such as temporarily reducing a customer’s speeds, to prevent or mitigate congestion of the services. Bandwidth intensive applications, such as streaming videos, gaming, or downloading large files, are most likely to be impacted by such actions."
Similarly, Mixvoip applies these conditions to our 5G connectivity services to maintain high service quality and prevent network congestion. This ensures that during peak times, the network remains stable and efficient for all users.
Starlink installation
Mounting a Starlink requires careful placement to ensure clear, unobstructed views of the sky. The process involves selecting an optimal location, usually an open area or a rooftop, where the satellite dish can be installed without any interference from trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
The mounting kit includes a base that can be secured on various surfaces, ensuring stability. Proper alignment with the satellite's path is crucial for maintaining a strong and consistent internet connection.
