Pascal Knebler and Loïc Didelot begin working on what would become Mixvoip, initially focusing on delivering SIP trunking services to businesses in Luxembourg.
Mixvoip SA. is officially incorporated under Luxembourg business number B138372. Early investors include ION Network Solutions Sarl, several friends and family members, and Corpoinvest Soparfi SA, a holding company created to consolidate the founders’ shares.
Mixvoip expands its offering beyond SIP trunks by launching MixPBX, its first business phone system, built on the open-source Asterisk telephony framework. This allows customers to deploy full-featured PBX solutions that connect not only to SIP but also to traditional ISDN (BRI, PRI, E1) and analog lines.
Mixvoip’s in-house developed PBX solution, MixPBX, reaches a major milestone by becoming fully cloud-ready. From this point forward, it is available in three versions: on-premise with dedicated hardware, deployed in the customer’s own virtual environment, or fully hosted and managed in Mixvoip’s operated cloud infrastructure.
