Sending an SMS via Email
- Create a new email.
- In the To field, enter the mobile number followed by
@smsu.eu. - In the Subject line, insert your FAX key provided by Mixvoip.
- Write your message in the email body.
Example: (+XXX)NUMBER@smsu.eu
Example: fk:XXX-XXXXXXXXX
Alternative Authentication in the Email Address
If you're unable to add your fax key to the subject or body, you can include it directly in the recipient address.
Simply add the fax key after the phone number (without the colon :).

How Message Content Is Processed
To ensure SMS messages are clean and concise, we apply the following rules:
- Text after a dash (“–”) is ignored, as it typically indicates an email signature.
- Content after the
<html>tag is not filtered. - Messages are limited to 300 characters.
- If the email body is empty, the subject line is used instead.
